Father’s Day at Ightham Mote
Make dad’s day with a spot of fishing in the moat, a little beer tasting, some billiards on our Victorian billiards table and plenty of opportunity to relax.
At Ightham Mote, it’s time for fathers and grandfathers to relax with a spot of family fishing in the moat. Our popular fishing event is open to all the family, and our knowledgeable volunteers will be on hand to offer advice and support. Rods and bait are supplied.
We will also be hosting beer tasting outside our shop, and there will be a chance for dads and grandads to try their hand at billiards on our Victorian billiards table.
Relax with a picnic at the north end of the garden, pay a visit to our children’s natural play area or enjoy 700 years of history in the house. For the more energetic, our estate walks are beautiful at this time of year, while our café offers lunch, a welcome slice of cake (or two) and refreshing drinks to recharge the batteries.
Please note, normal admission prices apply (National Trust members are admitted free). Dogs are not allowed in the garden at this time of year but are welcome on our estate walks and on the patio area of our café.
