Howletts Halloween 5k Run – Sunday 3rd November 2019
We are delighted to be bringing you this event in 2019, raising money for the Aspinall Foundation. We will have a spooky theme with this new event to celebrate Halloween. Taking place right within the park it is a special chance to see some of the animals at the park.
There will be lots of activities at the Race HQ, including a kids fun run, stalls and a mini-event village. A good range of refreshments will also be available for you to enjoy.
We actively encourage you to fundraise for the event, and as a thanks from the Aspinal Foundation if you raise over £25 you can also enter the park after the event for FREE!! !! For an easy way to donate or to get sponsored you can use The Aspinall Foundation Just Giving page here – https://www.justgiving.com/jaf
Howletts Wild Animal Park was set up as a private zoo in 1957 by John Aspinall near Canterbury, Kent. The animal collection was opened to the public in 1975. To give more room for the animals another estate at Port Lympne near Hythe, Kent was purchased in 1973, and opened to the public as Port Lympne Zoo in 1976.
