Dickens Festival 2019
There will be fun for all the family including costumed parades, street acts, competitions, readings and a fun fair. Rochester High Street will be transformed into a Dickensian scene.
Want to be apart of the Dickens Festival and/or Dickensian Christmas?
We are always on the lookout for new performers, characters, shows and all things Dickens!
Want to be a character and join in with all the wonderful volunteers that fill the street? It’s easy. Get your Victorian glad rags on and come along, it’s as simple as that. You will be able to join in the parades at 2pm, mingle with the other Dickensian characters and probably be stopped for a photograph or two by members of the public. Haven’t got an outfit? Don’t worry, a costume sale is taking place at Rochester’s Corn Exchange on 18 May.
If you have a Dickens related act that you think would be suited to the festival, we would love to hear from you. Please send details of what you do, along with any photographs, links to websites or video clips you have to email@example.com
Our Dickensian Christmas festival hosts a choir stage, where we welcome all local choirs, schools, groups and the like to come along and sing some festive carols. If you would like to be involved, please get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org
