Mote Park

The Great Outdoors

Whether it’s a rare hot summers day or a freezing winters afternoon Mote Park represents a wonderful few hours for couples and families to while away some well earned leisure time.

Mote Park is very popular and attracts over one million visitors a year. Central to the park is its vast lake that is well stocked with fish for the keen angler whilst ducks and swans add to the beauty of this park.

What’s on Offer?

Besides just the obvious – to walk – the park has many features from a BMX track for kids, pitch and putt golf, 2 children play areas to a model miniature railway that is open to the public in the summer for the princely sum of 30p!

There is also a café in the park to enjoy a well-deserved cup of tea or ice cream for the kids.

Please note if you wish to fish you will need a permit, please bring your rod licence and then you can buy your permit for £5 for adults and £2.50 for children.

With many of us now paying more attention to our health this park is the ideal opportunity to stretch your legs and get some valuable walk time under your belt for you and your kids. Inspire is also sure that dog owners will find the park the ideal ‘walkies’ route! After a hard day at work nothing quite invigorates like being in the great outdoors too. So what are you waiting for?
