It’s one of those peculiar positions that the common reaction is to shudder aghast at the thought of drinking another person, outside from your mothers when you were a baby, breast milk. But how then is drinking cows milk better? In this case you are drinking milk from another animal that was never designed for humans, it was designed for baby calves!
Interestingly though, human breast milk has less protein than most milk, such as cows for example.
Health Risks of Drinking Human Breast Milk
Writing in the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine, specialists said there was little evidence to support claims that the milk – traded via websites in a lucrative market for adult buyers – is some kind of super food that can boost health and fitness and ward off disease.
Experts have also warned, raw and unpasteurized human breast milk bought online can expose consumers to many serious infectious diseases, including hepatitis, HIV and syphilis. No laughing matter this.
A Step too Far?
Inspire Kent is all for embracing change in bettering our lives, from health to doing more recreation-ally, but sometimes maybe we push that stick just a little to far in search of perfection.
